Originally from London England, Raj now calls Oakville home where he lives with his wife and two boys. He owns and manages various properties in UK, US and Canada. He joined RCOT last year but has been involved with Rotary in various ways for over 15 years including having served as President in 2001-2002. With Ribfest, he has served as Co-Chair for Recycling and this year as Marketing Chair. Raj is known for his jolly laugh, passion for fast cars and his affinity for British chocolates!

Among the original members of the band was guitarist Mike Montgomery.
Although Dan has passed away, Mike continues the band to this day. The result is a talented group that plays a wide variety of music that continues to win audiences over every night.

Born and raised in Jamaica and a proud Canadian for forty years, Karen lives and works in Oakville where she runs her own editing and publishing consulting company. A thirty-year veteran of the book publishing industry, Karen has been a book lover and voracious reader all her life. Her other main loves in life are her husband, step-daughter, and two wheaten terriers. Grew up in Oakville, and joined the Rotary Club of Oakville Trafalgar – where her father, Barry, was a member – in 2000. She has been active in International Service, and is passionate about aid work in Africa. She joined the Ribfest Steering Committee at the beginning, and takes responsibility for organizing the Kids’ PlayZone and the Artisan Alley & Community Marketplace areas. Jennifer is also passionate about the Irish band U2, and will miss her first day of Ribfest in six years when she will be at the band’s show in Toronto on Friday night!
